John McConnell, Operating Executive, Media

Mr. McConnell is the president of McConnell Media, LLC, a traditional and new media consultancy, and the president of Benchmark Entertainment. McConnell Media has founding positions in several start ups, advises businesses and high profile individuals on their media strategies, and provides talent representation to broadcasters and authors. Until November 2008, Mr. McConnell was the SVP in charge of programming for the ABC Radio Networks. Over his 20 year tenure at ABC Radio Networks, Mr. McConnell managed a number of broadcast assets that generated several billion dollars in revenue while personally receiving numerous broadcast and journalism awards. He is also an executive board member and development chair of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

Mr. McConnell earned his degree in Communications from Pepperdine University and has trained at the Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation.
