Darryl Thompson, Operating Executive, Media

Mr. Thompson has nearly 20 years of investment experience with alternative assets. Mr. Thompson is the managing partner for Bacara Partners, LLC, an entertainment and media business development and consulting firm. Prior to Bacara Partners, Mr. Thompson was president of Belenos Capital Management LLC, a quantitative hedge fund that managed assets for family offices. Prior to joining Belenos, Mr. Thompson was a partner at TSG Capital Group, LLC, a private equity firm that focused on investing in the growing domestic emerging markets. Prior to this, he was the special assistant to Reginald F. Lewis, the chairman and CEO of TLC Beatrice International Holdings, Inc., a $1 billion multinational corporation with principal operations in Western Europe. Before joining TLC, Mr. Thompson was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated.

Mr. Thompson holds an MBA from Stanford Business School, an MS from MIT, and an AB in mathematics and chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
