OPPORTUNITY

AUA invests in the ownership and management teams with strong business models and growth opportunities – primarily within the United States but is open to strategic international opportunities. Industries we have invested in include Internet-based services and applications, food and beverage, education, consumer products, real estate, basic industries, and special situations.

MANAGEMENT

AUA supports only those managers with demonstrated track records of entrepreneurial accomplishment, domain expertise, and senior-leadership experience. AUA requires Board of Director representation in all portfolio companies.

TRANSACTION TYPES

Typically AUA seeks preferred instruments providing capital for expansion or growth opportunities. In addition to growth equity investments, AUA has been involved with leveraged buyouts and turnarounds situations where the opportunities were the right strategic fit.
